Righteousness

Taking being "made" righteousness seriously

This message is to all who take the position of being righteous in God’s eyes seriously!

The phrase to be “righteous” in and of itself bears connotations of an unattainable restrained discipline so rigid that it is often associated with the extremes of asceticism.  However, the true righteous state is administered and maintained by a loving Father who tenaciously holds fast to His blood covenant enacted by the Son.   This covenant causes an individual’s faith to be accounted to him for righteousness just as the progenitor of the faithful; Abraham’s did for him (Galatians 3:6).  It is not so much the ability to attain righteousness, as much as it is to believe and accept its concrete reality via the priceless appropriations of Divine grace without being baffled or bewitched by bondage mongers who would as soon see an individual’s cessation of life than to believe what the Word really says concerning God’s undying love for man.  Hence ones comprehension of “righteousness” consequently should generate a pool of boundless compassion that surges out of a heart that is inundated with gratefulness.

Say what you will, but know this; we cannot love God whom we have not seen and hate our brother that we see every day, for whoever hates his brother is a murderer (I John: 4). So it really doesn’t matter greatly how much of an individual’s shortcomings we have become privy to. Rather it is how we help them to find restoration and peace through grace, patience and most of all unconditional love.

Mizanti,

"I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For HE has clothed me with the garments of salvation, HE has covered me with the robe of righteouness..." Isaiah 61

For this I am eternally grateful, Praise God!

In God through CHRIST JESUS we are somebody!

Thank you for sharing,

Blessings
